Tips on removing hardened wax from tight spots ????

Not too long ago I did sealant & wax job on my black Taco.

I admit to rushing.

Was using CG Butter wax.

Instead of doing small sections at a time, I spread too much out and got ahead of myself.

I'm finding spots where the wax dried up leaving a white outline....door creases, inside the side mirror housings and similar nooks and crannies.

Gonna wash it later today or tomorrow and figured I'd do a walk around prior and take note of everywhere I see the white signs of rushing and then hit it with more carefully during the wash.


Aside from not leaving the mess on in the first place...anyone discovered an easier way to remove this unwanted leftover wax ?

I'll slow down and go small on the next wax session.

 

Some of those can be tricky to get out. I found it best to tape off areas where you don’t want wax or polish. Especially seams.

 

Maybe carefully use a toothpick wrapped in a piece of cloth to gently pick at it
