My sources would be central mass off road and online steel suppliers. Shipping charges, min qty, more bending = more expected waste...all adds up

Somethings not right in the math though at $800 in material and shipping that would still need you 100 feet in steel pipe which is WAY too much

Exactly my thought. I only deal with pipe at work, not tube, but you could make it out of 2" .120 wall sch 40 in 304SS for ~$325. I'm sure tube in roughly the same size is similarly priced.

20180629_072854.jpg made mine from aluminum. 130 in material plus 3 kb voodoo bedrail bars. Not as pretty, but solid.

Imagine my disappointment when I opened this thread and it contained truck pictures.

800 seems really steep. Rigid steel pipe 1.5" per 10 foot is $55 each and that's Hawaii prices. 1" rigid which he most likely used on top is roughly $35. 5x 10' 1.5" plus 2x 10' 1" rigid is roughly $350. A 2' length of box steel is no more than $20 plus misc. flat steel is another $50 at absolute most.

I'm guessing ball park is around $450 at the very absolutely most. (Plus bolts/hardware)

Looks like you'd see a tow rope and someone on a wakeboard behind it

Funny you mention that, the company that did the fab work is apparently big into boat racks/towers/etc. I can see the influence behind the build.
