If you're losing traction with a wheel(s) and/or it's free spinning because it's off the ground, modulate the break slightly which will cause that tire to stop turning due to friction of brakes. That in turn will send the power from that wheel through the diff to the wheel that has the traction.

Or if you're doing slight crawling or going over an obstacle have your left foot on the brake, keep rpms at about 1500 so the vehicle is just unable to move over break power and then when you want to start going forward, slowly add more fuel to overcome brakes. This will help keep your suspension under preload resulting in less sway and bounce and act as diff lockers for better traction.

On the sunroof thing, yes you are correct about ceiling height, but the sunroof is available on the off-road too, so the issue isn't exclusive to the sport.

Yeah I have the OR with sunroof. I’m 5’10” and there’s a lot of headroom in my truck. None of my friends ever complained either. Is it just the sport that has a lower roof?

No. Every taco with the sunroof has a lower ceiling.
