Nope it does not. And I'll admit it's ugly but it's not as ugly as the 2018 grille.

I'm hoping to replace my current one (same as post #2) with a cheese grater. That one and the black SR5 grille are my two favorites. I guess if I want one of those, I may need to get creative for a TSS mount.

 

Where you located? I have a cheese grater one for sale? In excellent condition no broken tabs and comes with surround. I’m in the Bay Area.

 

Portland. A bit far for pickup and I'm not looking to pay to get one shipped - that could get pretty spendy. Good luck finding a buyer for yours, though.

They pop up on CL locally from time to time. I may just have to be patient.

 

You can just get the black Sr5 grille off the 2018 Sr5's or SR's and its compatible with TSS.

I think the 2018 grille looks much better.

 

To each their own, sure they fixed the chrome but its now just a giant shark mouth with a very odd pattern, still not an attractive grille.

 

I have a 2018 one (black with TSS mount) I can sell you. $20, you cover shipping.

I will say the wavy grille pattern on the 2018 can make me dizzy if I stare at it too long!

 

I like the offroad grills as much as the Pros. I never understood the hate.

 

This got leaked from Toyota headquarters. It’s all the proposed Tacoma grill designs up to the 2045 model year.

 

For me, it's all the chrome. Wish it were black instead. I'm not a big fan of the Pro grills, either. Best grill is the SR, IMO.

OP - I see the OR grills going for $30-$50 locally. If I can land an SR grill for a decent price, I'm happy to send you mine for the cost of shipping. I'm sure you can Macgyver something to make the TSS fit.

 

It's all the chrome. Plastidip the OR grill or paint it black and save yourself $300

 

It is the chain link fence look. Story is, that one day the senior designers at Toyota decided they need a new one(design). They walked into the design studio and found one of the lesser designers goofing off and looking out the window at the fence (chain link of course) They said " Hey you over there daydreaming --design a new grill for the 18 Tacoma". He did except he/she could not get the image of the chain-link fence out of their brain.
Now you know the "rest of the story
That whole section should be fired for their stupid designs!!
Just look at a metal chain link fence and see if you do not agree.
