That's a good point. I guess with the env science I have a better chance of doing a job where I'd feel like I'm actually making a positive impact and doing something I enjoy

 

Remember that Concordia is a religious school first. They’re pretty serious about it.

With a math degree, you can do an insane amount of statistical analysis virtually anywhere for anyone. Austin is a tech town, and tech companies gobble that up. Math is also important in the environmental sciences specifically because of the statistical analysis needs.

There’s a possibility you could possibly do both.

Have you really toured Concordia? Aside from a parking lot not big enough to host Cars and Coffee (that was a huge mess), it’s smaller than most high schools. That makes it intimate. You’re going to have small classes and know almost everyone. Can’t say that would happen at UT.

Still...it’s 100% your decision to make based on what’s best for you. Good luck!

Indeed. I drove up for coffee and cars and hung out and then drove home and went to a car meet down here. That devil in the sky saw a lot of me yesterday.

I would recommend a smaller CB unit unless you have room for the full sized one. Like this one that Chad has.

The bar got some lovin today. Built the TV enclosure cabinet and got some more work done on cedar facing. Added the trim boards to box them off. made it way better.
