I usually run an open bed with nothing but loaded up I've got an rtt, rack couple pelican cases and rtic cooler. Misc gear etc. Deavers and icons rode great, rxt rides just that much better. Definitely not too stiff and holds the added weight perfectly

Where you carrying similar load with the deavers? Couple hundred pounds im guessing. I might be carrying more than i think but they still look positively arched. Idk. Just seem like theyve gotten stiffer

Does anyone have experience using these in conjunction with a shackle flip kit? Looking to get about another inch of lift.

Any updates? Was thinking of buying this exact same set up--minus the UCA's; currently have Camburg UCA's?

Can you run 5150s Shock in the back with these? Looking to buy a new leaf pack.

Any idea how the spring rate in second configuration compares to stock spring rate or dakars? Just ordered a pair and wondering if I should try configuration 1 or 2. Right now I am running dakars in the configuration they come shipped in and the ride is too harsh.

Still a softer spring rate than stock. By I believe about 10%.

Cool, so it sounds like configuration #2 will be a good balance between stock and the dakars, thanks for the reply.

You can still run the RXT leaf pack with the standard rear shocks, you just wont get the benefit of the extra droop and bump travel that you will get with the RXT spec shock.

Just a heads-up: You probably shouldn't hold your breath waiting for a response from Jerry. He has moved on.

Hi my name is David I live in San Diego. I recently purchased a full Icon suspension set up including the RXT leaf springs. I’m scheduled to have the install done on my 2011 tacoma 4x4 long bed sport on the 19th of this month, I’m very excited

Question: In regards to the RXT springs I’m torn between option 2 vs option 3. I was wondering if you can help me decide which option will suit me best. I’m kinda leaning towards option 3 because I carry a camper shell Snugtop (low profile) along with recovery gear, hi-lift, spare 33” Ko2, 20lb power tank which weighs about 45lbs when full, 3 gallon water tank, and a heavy tool bag. Not to mention all the miscellaneous gear such as ice chest, folding chairs, tent, etc...

What’s your thoughts should I go with option 2 or option 3??

How heavy is your snugtop? Based off what you are telling me that you will have and off of the past trucks we have done with similar set ups, I would definitely be leaning towards the option 3 set up.

I just called SnugTop to confirm the weight of the camper shell, it roughly weighs 250lbs. So most likely I'm going with the option 3.

Has anyone purchased the rear rxt 2.5 resi shocks separately? My question is do they come with a mount/brackets to mount the reservoirs to the frame? I just ordered a pair and now I’m wondering if I need to find a place that sells just the brackets.
    Thx!!!
