Kidding, I googled "cheapest sub amp" and this came up.

 

I’m currently in the process of doing subs and amp as well. I used to run Memphis audio but this time around I’ve been thinking about going with massive audio. The kickers are an option as far as price.
What sort of box will you be mounting it in? I’d say at least a 500w mono block

This is as far as I’ve got, wires ran, back wall dynamatted, box in place, plastic bins trimmed to make the surround. Holds 2 10s and amp mounts in center of box

 

To be honest, that question is like "best oil" or "best tire".... But, what I would do is figure out if this is the only intent of this amp, or might you upgrade and want to add main speakers and/r bigger sub later.

If the former, I would find a decent named amp with about 125-150% watts over the max on the sub(s), that way you can power them to the max without hitting an amp upper noise floor or clipping, you can control the amount of power with the amp gain.

If the latter, you need to decide how much you want to buy now for possible later upgrades and buy according to that.

 

I have the 2nd Gen version of that box, but I have just a single sub so I cut the extra sub box off, kept the one sub and amp rack and sold the cutoff side. Very "cost effective".
