Just finished up thw add on module to an SR to give it keyless open/lock functions. Kit is a pita as far as lack of space to work in bit otherwise if you can determine what connector the directions are referencing, its not to bad. The supplied wiring harness has all connectors sipplied and you mainly need to use supplled wire taps for the connections. I made all the connections, to include the ground wire to the chassis bolt inder the dash.
After all was connected, when doing the test by hirting lock or unlock it does one action then fose blpws each time.
Tried 3 different fuses after triple checking wiring and list of wire cokors. Same result. I know first reaction is a power wire issue but it does clearly work once and it appears the harness power wire is correctly connected to the switch power.

It's not unusual to screw up the electrical system with these trucks when jacking with it. EVEN when following the directions.

Plenty of discussion about similar problems. I know this was no help for your issue, but, you screw with these systems at your own risk.

ok.. agree to a point. but this is the setup Toyota apparently gave blessing on. Not really a one off but done by various dealers. Have call out to Daytona Toyota as they install a fair number of these. It appears their "guru" on all things electrical is ofb today but will hit me up tomorrow.
I just a few people have done the upgrade, just was unable to find the thread.
