Thanks. I've been reading through several threads on how to do this and I think I'm going to attempt to do this myself.

The Navigation bypass seems straight forward.

If I just want to add another video source to control from the headunit for a front camera, what I don't understand is why line 15 needs to tie into line 11.

Does 15 just need to be cut? I've seen it posted both ways.

    1) What happens if I just cut wire 15?
2)What happens in I cut wire 15 and tap it to wire 11?

Some pins needs to triggers, other needs not... Try DIY ... Took me a while to R&D for that schematic and burnt a few fuses...Reason I posted schematic so members can DIY ... not for profit. Feel free to pm if you needed.

Wanted to confirm that just leaving the switch on for a while seems to have worked as others said it would.

At first it would let me put in a route and would properly find it's path from where I was, and would follow my location - but if I turned off the given route it wouldn't update, and it wasn't giving any voice commands. I switched it on and off a few times trying things out and eventually just left it on. Forgot about it for a few days then one day I started using the GPS and realized everything was working - it wasn't lagging behind my actual position, it would update immediately if I turned off the proposed route, and it would give me voice commands and display upcoming turns in the dashboard screen like normal. Very happy about that!

It did take a few days though, it didn't seem to be "just drive on curvy roads for 15 minutes" like someone else said. So if you're still having trouble, just leave it on and forget about it then try it out the following week. Now if only the CH4x4 switches I got weren't crappy quality, but ah well. Works for me so far. :)

For those that successfully connected the phone mirroring for iPhone which mira box did you go with? From reading the thread OP said only Android is wireless. Want to purchase all the stuff I need for phone mirroring, front camera and rear camera anytime. Thanks in advance

I’ve picked up the mirabox 5g from another member on here. I’ve followed the instructions on installing and plugged everything where it’s suppose to be, but the LED button won’t light up. Could it be that I still need to ACC/GND it? If so, where would I tap it into?

    Daniel,
You need to tap power to black and red wires as below:
    upload_2018-7-15_17-25-26.jpg
Red wire to P-OUTLET1 or P-OUTLET2 in fuse box under driver side. Use mini fuse tap as needed.
Black wire to chassis / Ground

    Regards,

Got around to installing mine today. Everything working great, including the Nav functions, etc. I purchased my switches from aironboard and they fit my center console area perfectly. I'm using the parkvision camera purchased off Amazon and it's functionality is really good. You have a separate button that you can use to cycle through six different modes. The modes change the camera viewing angle. It almost acts as if the camera is on a gimble of some sort, but I'm pretty sure it's just using some digital framing to change viewable angles. You can program parking lines, split screen, top down view, etc. Really neat camera and good picture so far. Great easy mod and the cabling that Hoangde uses to make the cables is of really good quality. I wanted to post pics of the install, but in my rush to finish the job, I didn't take any installation pics. I will post pics of the viewable angles, etc. shortly. Still cleaning up a little wiring under the dash.

    Thanks Hoangde!

Might add phone mirroring in the future, but going to leave as is for now.

Thanks again Hoangde for getting the cables made up and shipped quickly
