Woah. That looks more like a crazy optical illusion. Feel like they would have caught that if it was really bent like that.

Im going more spartan/utilitarian. Some front runner wolf packs and my fridge strapped down. Still gotta figure water out but for now i use an aquatainer. I want to be able to unpack and pack camp fast while being comfy. Still looking for a good chair that packs nice and a good table but my wolfpacks could double as a table. I also ppan to use them as stair to enter the bed of the truck.

Speaking of bulges, I really like your paper towel holder. Saw your post in the other thread with the 3D printed end-caps. You consider printing up a larger batch and selling them here?

Would you pass along the .STL? I recently got into 3D printing and I plan to print some stuff for the build out when I get my GFC. We could share ideas.

It's not as sexy as a Kermit chair- but I have two of these: https://www.amazon.com/GCI-Outdoor-Wilderness-Recliner-Backpack/dp/B0042X10A0

They're super comfortable and have held up well. I don't find them particularly attractive myself - but they seem to get lots of complements.

Then for a table this guy: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003YJPC2A/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

is hard to beat. I also use it around the house all the time for random stuff. The multiple height options make it really handy in the garage for getting larger items at a comfortable working height.

I could only buy the wolfpacks with free shipping, I finally found a deal and pulled the trigger so that worked out. They are pricey but the multi functionality is nice and they will simplify my packing. I hadnt looked into the FR chairs, I will have to see what those are about. I have been considering a roll up table, they pack down nicely. What brand did you go with? I have been looking at the alp mountaineering ones.

I am in GA, not sure of any frontrunner dealers in the area. That table is similar to the alp mountaineering, probably based off the same concept.

I wonder if the bow is an imperfection in the extrusion or caused by the stress in closing the top against the bedding, etc.?

I have set plans to do that. I am taking 10 days of vacation and leaving out Oct 26th to pick up my GFC in person and explore Utah and see the Grand canyon before returning East attend the Overland Expo.

You can kind of see the bow. But I asked and showed Graeme in person and he said it wasn’t anything to worry about

Not sure exactly what chair you want or what size you are but if you want a chair to relax at camp/ outdoor venues ext. Helinox chairs are seriously freaking amazing. And they take up about 1/4 the space of a more tradition chair, oh they weight 1/4 as much too. One of my favorite purchases.

Wow, i was debating dong that but with 18 days off in oct i didn’t think it’d honestly have the time. What state do you live in? My figuring was from NY it would have been three days to Montana. Another day or more to Utah (5 days min there to do the National Park loop) Arizona another day plus. At least one r two days in AZ than back east for 3 days. That’d be 16 days and i thought it’d be too rushed, as i tend to like to wander at times. If you do it I’ll deffinately follow you on IG or something because I’d LOVE to do the same trip sometime.

Quoted you too early i see you’re from GA.

Hopefully I’ll run into you at East, i had planned on going but now it looks like I’m headed to Portland Oregon a day after it ends so I’m not totally sure if I’ll have time to get home catch a flight. Fingers crossed it works out.

Did it arrive that way, or is this due to storing bedding and/or other stuff up there when closed? Does the seal take up the extra space?

There isn't a seal between the top and bottom.

So how is uneven alignment and non-straight channeling okay? Not bashing, just curious why this wouldn't be considered a flaw and if it could cause problems.

There is a big ass waterproof tent attached to the upper and lower parts. Nothing relies on the extrusion edges being perfectly flat.

Thats the style I have been looking into, I believe some others from overland bound recommended those on their insta as well. I will have to look into them more closely.
