Why new armor? This has tons of life.

 

Maybe taking it off the mounting holes will end up tweaking so that it won't go back on without a battle but if it goes on and off easily keep rocking it. But yeah you don't have any holes or dents big enough to hit anything crucial so it's still protecting what it's supposed to.

 

They are a pain to put back on.. Largely because I do it by myself..

Completely fine, that’s what armor is for and looks like on a truck that actually gets wheeled on more than fire roads

 

Nothing on my truck is a hot/popular/high dollar brand either.

Damn USPS was a little slow to get one package out for delivery today.. One more package from rockauto, to be delivered tomorrow, and I'll be replacing my parking brake cables.. Though I still want to replace these parking brake levers and I can't find them anywhere for sale.

Just some A/C temps I'm going to be looking at.. See if I care/need to put in an electric fan.

Parked overnight, with current weather, idling for 2-3mins. The last show the temps with compressor engaged and disengaged. Yes it's not hot.. But that humidity makes air harder to cool. #data

 

Commence operation parking brake job.
