Niiiiiiiiice, I've got 35s on the long list. Those will look sweet with the fenders!

What size spacers you go with?

    You make me blush
yes. Total Chaos’ normal kit will not work without modification, however their race kit bolts right in. I’m pretty sure camburgs will work but dirt kings will not. The main problem is the lower Uniball. Because on the factory spindle, the bolt directly touches the Uniball on the bottom, so you can snug it to make it fit. Dirt king and total chaos normal kit have thin lower Uniball adapters, so if you put them in Maxtracs they will move up and down and require little spacers (which the mount goes over and under the Uniball, so no matter how tight you get the bolt it doesn’t move much). Total Chaos race kit uses an oem ball joint housing to mount the Uniball adapter, so since it is a full size ball joint mount it will fit with no slack.

Stock fenders will "work" with 33s or less. They will stick out and rock chip your rocker panels and mirrors pretty quickly. Any bigger tires and they'll hit at full tuck

It is a lot of fun. I think that it was worth it, it depends where your priorities are if it is worth it to you. I have ridden in various mid travel trucks and mid travel is nothing compared to long travel

@1nonlygarcia I am not an expert by any means. But in principle a spindle that moves the hub away from the truck effectively allows for a setup with more travel. The one drawback is that company's typical design the kit or control arms with their spindles as part of the set up.

And aside from that, LT typically would indicate you drive your truck hard off road and the maxtrac spindle is significantly beefier when compared to the stics spindles.

IMHO, well worth the investment considering the cost of alternative LT spindles.

So I went ahead ordered the 3.5 race series kit along with king shocks. :spending:Now the spindles will work with them? Do I have to do any modifications to them?

If you are talking about Total Chaos race kit, they will bolt right up with no modification. Also I am glad to see someone else do this. I have seen a couple maxtrac/long travel combos that require modification, but maybe people will not go that route seeing that we have figured out a way to do bolt on.

Maxtrac spindles FTW! Out of 15 rigs, 3 of us were 2wd. 2 of us 2wd were locked (other guy had LSD, not quite as good). I was the only one with a decent lift & great tires. The other 2 2wd trucks had to park at the trailhead & bum rides. It was a good weekend!
