Fluid filmed it twice a year since I purchased it in 2015. Second owner (sold twice at the same dealer), truck has spent its whole life in Colorado, and I still had rust.

You don't deserve a thoughtful response to this.

Thanks @Jaysonn - I do not have a roof-rack. But the dealership did install their own 3rd brake light LEDs and truck bed LEDs.. Thank you though. It's getting fixed tomorrow.

@remgu2000 thanks for the picture! Mine is much worse than yours and the truck was finished and shipped off from Texas 69 days ago. I don't understand the hate on this thread though honestly. This is the first thread I've started besides for the introduce yourself one, just wanted to vent some frustrations out as I don't have time to pull out these pieces right now, especially as my landlord doesn't us work on vehicles in the garage. I'm also not inclined to spend my time doing that, although even if it is just cosmetic, I would get it done, would just take me longer than it would to drop it off at the dealership and get back to work in a rental car.

For all of you raging out about the price, here is what the truck cost. $52k was out of the door, bottom line. People can be idiots. The entire truck was also clear coated, lo jacked, added security system, safe in the center dash, bed LED lighting, two additional usb ports, maxxgard elite protection, and more I cant think of at the moment. My sales tax is 8% where I live. CA also charges out the ass for titling. The dealership is taking care of the rust tomorrow after I pushed at them to get Toyota to approve the repair. They aren't taking out the dash, they're taking out the brake pedal assembly and anything else that may be rusted, getting rid of said rust and clear coating it, and giving me a rental car.
