New to the forums... I have read around a bit and really not wanting to drop $400 on fog lamps but would like to convert my fogs to amber... any suggestions?

Did you have to take the rubber grommets off of your stock bulbs and put those on the yellow bulbs?

For some reason, 2 diff brands i tried of yellow fogs, i needed to reuse my old grommets or the new bulbs would not fit correctly...iirc they wouldnt lock into place.

I run the Cali raised led pods in amber with their fog light mounts. It works great. I highly recommend their stuff

do you have a pic of them during the day without any lights on? I want to see the amber lense as opposed to amber bulbs in a clear lense.

You can kinda see the mounts in the first picture. This is the best I have on my phone at the moment. The light up the road really well at night6719881B-1B7A-4B8F-9B9C-ACB2207F2A20.jpg 34F5AACD-D2DB-4284-B4E9-F94F78B84D96.jpg ED0122DE-F6D5-4CD3-A265-8FAB11F0F8DD.jpg

What year truck do you have? We offer a street legal option for amber fog lights for 2015+ Tacomas. They've been absolutely flying off of the shelves lately after @crashnburn80 did a large review of many fog lights available. (link can be found here to the review thread)

We use colored LEDs rather than a cover/filter to achieve the amber output color, which results in a very high quality light color. Plus they're direct plug-and-play replacements for any 2012+ that was equipped with fogs from the factory. I know they're in that price range that's a bit high for you, but if you are interested in them, send me a private message and I'll help on the pricing!

I’ve only tried the clear, but their performance is exceptional. One point of clairification though, I think you mean all 2012+ trucks. :)

Yes. You are correct. Prime reason of why I need to not drink coffee in the afternoon - once it kicks in, these fingers move faster than my brain.
