I’m looking to upgrade the front suspension on my ‘99. Right now it has OME 882 (best I can remember) coils with matching nitrochargers and the top spacer. With about 8 years and well over 100k miles on them, they ride like a rock. On road they’re ok, but any bump is terrible. Especially at low speeds.

I would like to upgrade to coilovers, I’ve done some searching but I don’t feel I’ve come up with the answers I’m looking for. I understand that all the top names such as king, icon, and fox are all comparable, and depends upon the needs of the user. I don’t do a lot of off-roading, but it’s something I would like to get into. The truck is mainly used for highway driving, and also beats down dirt roads (BFE Southeast Georgia). I use it for work, and although it’s not ‘offroading’ technically, I drive around field edges which one can imagine aren’t the smoothest of roads (not roads as much as paths). Right now I do not have a bumper, nor do I have any armor. However, I do plan on getting a skid plate for good measure, and possibly a bumper in the feature. I would like to keep the height that the OME has given me, but I’m willing to sacrifice if it means I can get a smoother ride.

    Any guidance would be appreciated!

Edit: already running LR UCAs so from my understanding, UCAs should not be an issue.
