Power band is between 3000 and 6000 rpms. High revs to get her moving.... careful though she will take off like a rocket:D

It's a characteristic of the Atkinson cycle motor.

They disappear. Theyre nomadic. Also people steal them all the time. Just not a good idea with this breed.

Not so much. Here at sea level, I have the same issues on a flat highway trying to maintain 75-80mph. On a cool night with no wind, it will hold 6th gear 95% of the time; but on a hot day with even the slightest headwind, it will never go into 6th gear at those speeds.

MTs are the same way. The top gear(s) are cruising only. Don't be afraid though. Just did 108 miles of middle of no where logging roads and maintained 19mpg while bouncing between 4-5 doing 60 up hills.

I average 17 doing 70 to work in cruising mode.which is still ok with me all things considered

I was hoping on the inside that you were going to say “last time I did that, the cat came back with a dead deer on the foot of my bed”

Probably could. It drags a full size comforter down a flight of stairs and into the living room. We have a king bed. He's only 16lbs
