I just got mine in the mail last night and it looks like he writes a number on the envelope of each order. Assuming that is how many he has sold as mine said 2004. Shoot him a PM and you'll have it in a week.

Ordered mine Monday 12:45 pm. Got it Thursday 5:15 pm, installed it 5:30-5:45pm, Check in the mail in the morning.

The hardest part was figuring how to get the mirror off the standard mount. See post #1442 above for how to get spring mounted mirror off.

    Thanks

Any tips on getting this guy installed? I've got the temp/compass/camera built into my mirror and am having some issues with the bracket. I cant seem to get the bracket up into the headliner enough to slide onto its mount. 15321122591247530676141062293748.jpg 15321123086535166616449103534474.jpg 15321123659497773307630317218882.jpg

Put the adapter on the windshield first. Then put your mirror on the new bracket.

It looks like you might need to trim your old bracket at the top to get it to fit.

Thanks @hemmjo. I found that I could use the existing bracket on my mirror however I had to pull the headliner out even further than I thought possible to get it to fit. It did however leave no room to tuck the wiring in, so that's exposed. Good enough I suppose.

I don't suppose there s an option to only move the mirror up about 2/3 of the way? I'm 5'8". The mirror is in my field of view, but not as bad as for taller people. I'm interested in not moving quite all the way up to preserve the ability to see further behind me in the mirror.

You can still adjust it down and, as always, you can send it back if it's not to your liking'

    FYI

I can happily say I now have a stock of Mirror Mounts. If you are wanting a bracket I will take your name 'n address and ship it as soon as possible. Sadly the price had to take a small bump due to materials and postage.

Here's the 411 as of 10/22/16 to date.

The following is the current price & standard "boilerplate" info and I thank you for your interest.:)

This bracket seems to work with all Gen II ('05-'15) Tacoma mirrors, wired or not and with screw or "clip on" type mounting. It will allow you to raise the mirror high enough to touch the headliner (almost but not quite w/ some clip on's).
After reviewing all the posts and you want one....Simply "Converse" with "ImMrYo" and leave your full name, address and zip. I will then ship pre-paid, via USPS, one bracket and a self-addressed, stamped envelope (Can. unstamped) for your prompt remitance of $40 cash/check/M.O. in the US. (Canada is $50 USD or $65 CAD) US or Can currency is best (wrap in paper) - Sorry no Pay Pal.
If you have need of more units, please make your request after completing the prior transaction. (also see below)

This item is currently available only to TW members.
Canadian postage took another huge jump this year.
Mail service to Canada has been known to take almost two weeks
The only tool you'll most likely need is a T-20 torx, for those mirrors retained with a screw.
To remove "clip on" type mirrors please see member post #1442 as they can be tricky.
Thank you in advance, hope this solves a problem and please make your comments known via post.
