Greetings from Roseville, I’m Tim. Been lurking here for a bit but thought I’d say hello.

Currently looking for recs on a replacement grille for my 2011 DCLB Sport. My grille fell off the other day randomly. Need to get a replacement.

    Thanks in advance.

I bought one from Ebay, a salvage place in Florida sells damn near new grills, all colors and styles. It worked out great for me. I think my 2011 honeycomb grill was 180$.

A little high, but it depends on them. Its a 1 hr job and if it takes them 2 hrs, then ok.
Jerry BAMF welded mine on in 45mins i dont think he dose that anymore, but you should shop around or look for a local freind to help you out. It sucks to over pay but most guys in this business are jeep guys and they dont have the experience that someone like jerry dose on tacos so they tend to overthink, measure more then twice, and take there time to getvit right for you. As to someone that has done it nany times its easy and quick.

Yea I figured it shouldn’t be too long of a job. Some local dude quoted he could do it for $140 but I’m not too sure if I should lean towards him yet. Id rather take it to a shop that works on fabricating rather than someone who does it in the side. Not saying that people who fabricates on the side doesn’t do good work or anything.

check out hot metal fab or one of the other fab shops. Problem with fab shops is them don't like to weld on stuff they didn't make.
Anyone that can weld good and read a tape should be able to do it. ask to see there work/welds.

Sup guys. Been on for a while but never knew this regional thread existed. Only had my 13 dcsb for a few months but I’m not new to Toyota’s. Have a built up 94 80 series. Looking to throw some cool overs on my taco in the next few months.

I’m in the greenback/80 area but work in the city of sacramento.

For those of you looking for a good fab shop, stellar built is good and does great work but I’ve had all my 80’s fab work done by Chance at CaliFab. He’s a cool guy and is reasonable on his prices.

This is a heads-up repost from what I just put in the Norcal thread....

OK, so I just put in an order for a new Leer cap. It is allegedly 6 weeks to deliver, but he thinks that with my options, it will be earlier.
Timing will be tricky with an upcoming camp trip to Sequoia NP in mid August. If the new cap is delivered in time, my existing 100XQ mag gray will be available for sale before I go pick up the new one. If not, I'll need to keep my existing cap until after that trip. Because life has to be complicated.

    Bottom line:

My Leer 100XQ mag gray long bed will be up for sale, and I'm giving Norcal and early warning and opportunity before I do a FS thread or craigslist.

I'll throw in the wiring kits for auto lock and rear brake light that I never got around to installing.
