I just picked up some of the Mini Tie downs and there is a warning to not use them with the factory tonneau cover. Is anyone using them with the factory tonneau? The warning said that the cover may not close and damage might occur. It looks like there should be plenty of room except maybe near the latches but I am out of town and not in the truck so I can't test it out. Can they be used if properly placed on the rail?

Edit: I searched again and found a post with pictures showing that they do work, you just need to be careful of placement.

I had the tonneau and the normal tie downs that come with all the trucks. I use to have both installed at the same time.

They all fit under the Tonneau just fine. There is only one place that a tie down would interfere with it closing.

Are these a Toyota product? If not, where are they sold?

Yep. Toyota part number PT278-00160 or PT278-35075. They can be had at the dealer or Amazon and eBay. Great for hanging grocery bags so your groceries don't roll to the front of the bed.
