So, I have a white DCSB and am looking to protect the paint on the rockers. Not looking for rock sliders at this time but just paint protection. I have looked at some clear bra type kits for about $500, and I also called the local Line X shop who quoted me $700-1300 for white. I am considering trying Monsta liner and wondering if anyone here has done it and could post some pics and some feedback. Or if anyone has used the clear bra stuff, feedback on that would be appreciated too.

    Thanks!

The clear stuff, at least what dealers install, gets really nasty around the edges after 3-4 years.

As @hiPSI says, you have stone guard already with the rough surface on the rocker. Its very hard, so bare metal is rarely exposed. And if the paint chips, its easy to touch up because the surface is not smooth.

I don't plan on doing anything to mine unless it gets really ratty. And then monstaliner will be my solution.

    Mr-Paul and hiPSI like this.

Yes, I know it has gravel guard. I also know I have a very small chip already at 10K miles and my neighbor has a Tundra with 70K and his rockers look like shiz- although he does a lot more gravel than I do..
