    4.0L, Auto
    Considering this 'Rockville RW10CA
10" 800 Watt Slim Low Profile Active Powered Car Subwoofer'.
in addition to the factory 'JBL Entune Amp & Sub'.
Don't want anything too aggressive just a lil' Punch in the Trunk er-uh Cab..

From all the reasearch I've done, I believe the proper configuration will be,
Tap into the factory amp's sub-out to an LOC then to the Rockville Lo-Input w/RCA Jacks.
Then the 12v power from the vehicle Battery & a GOOD Ground.

Any Comments, Recommendations & or Suggestions are Welcomed..

    TIA.

Sound systems have SURE come a LONG way,
Since I put that '8-Track Tape Deck' in my '69 Pontiac LeMans ! ;)

You are correct in your plan

I personally haven’t had good luck with the Rockville stuff clients have bought me. Much more a fan of the kicker hideaway or alpine’s equivalent

I just looked up that sub for you- There is no way that amp is capable of making 800 watts if the fuse safety rating is only 25 amps. I’m not going into the math, but that power rating is way overrated.

    Exactly what they said ^^^

    Volts x Amps = Watts

13.6v or whatever voltage our alternator runs at
Hell, we’ll call it 14.4 just to give this thing a chance

    25 amp fuse

    14.4x25=360w
And that’s when the on-board fuse blows

My advice is avoid Rockville in general, pay a little more for a more reliable brand that lists honest specs about their products.
