90s kids still had it good.

We just experienced the same things you did younger or a few years later.

Born in late 80s and I remember the goonies, princess bride, never ending story, Tron, arcades, skating rinks, street light curfews, etc.

It's these punk ass wussies that can't handle life and expect things to be handed to them I can't stand.

Well I read more about that kit. It doesn't sound too terrible. I wonder if it would power a drill or air compressor or other shop tools. I know lights and that sort of thing would be fine.

Dollar per Watt is premium pricing. Large scale stuff is a good bit under that currently I believe.

    Thanks, Jeff!

Haha, yeah, I usually use it to power a fan to keep some air moving on hot days.

I was kinda hoping he would chime in, too. :fistbump:

I watched a demo video of a build like I am considering and they were powering a drill press, several battery chargers, lights, etc. I'm kinda thinking for a full blown workshop I would need to step up to 1000 watts, and that's getting spendy.

If the fan won't come on, there's a small control transformer in the unit that may be out. It should have its own fuse. If it's blown, there was a reason, a surge or a failure elsewhere.

Not sure about the different systems, but the transformer for mine is in the air handler under the house.

 Pretty good with AC stuff. Also have someone that works for me that does AC work on the side. Troubleshooting isn't too hard on home HVAC.
