Hi everyone , I’ve been watching reading and learning from all the different threads on this site. I live in north central Az, in the village of oak creek, retired ironworker with limited mechanical facilities. I’m looking to get a Tacoma but need some advice. Do not want to buy new, looking for something with not a lot of miles, to do some casual 4 wheeling, however I don’t want to be half stepping. Reliability and a locking differential. The high desert can be a very deadly place and a long walk to civilization. I’m thinking lifted but not crazy ( I’m 67). Lockers for sure with a winch of course and a few accessories as well. My question is this am I better off just getting a decent Tacoma and have all the things I want put on or buying one completely assembled. I’ve been to lifted trucks in Phoenix, lots of fluff but no substance.. fancy tires , rims, and overzealous sales people. Any suggestions as to where to look or buy a good Toyo tacoma
