Fat Bob's lift kit, 30's on stock steelies, lunchbox locker in the rear, and a ton of other general mods and additions to help the utility of the truck for my particular uses.
Have a '13 Tacoma reg cab and looking for an aftermarket head unit that will allow for stock reverse camera usage, has HD Radio, and Bluetooth. Does anyone have any leads on one that would fit that criterion? All help is greatly appreciated.

I put a pioneer avh-2330nex in mine. Has everything you’re looking for at a good price. I paired it with an idatalink maestro rr to keep my back up camera, steering wheel controls, etc.

I used to be against the touchscreen radios when Pandora was good, but now I suggest radios which interface using Apple carplay or the Android equivalent. This gives you flexibility in switching between streaming options, rather than being stuck with Pandora.

I, too, used Crutchfield to find a new head unit when I wanted to install a backup camera.

I giev bonus points to Crutchfield for their easy technical service .

I give thumbs down to Pioneer for their poor quality unit.

My pioneer AVH-X 3800BHS was garbage. I won't be buying another Pioneer Product. My until failed after 14 months. The warranty is only 12 months. No, there's no grace period.

After what I had to spend on the unit, harnesses, etc I'm shocked it isn't backed by a longer warranty. Buying a Pioneer was an expensive mistake.

Great suggestions from all, thank you so much. I have decided to go with Kenwood DMX7705S.
    Thanks

Call Crutchfield - note only one unit I know supports bluetooth streaming...the rest require a cable...

I've been using the Kenwood Excelon DNX994S since October 2017, and I am very pleased. Having Apple CarPlay/Android Auto is really nice, but I especially like how the head-unit has Garmin GPS-based navigation as well. Apple Maps still sucks for navigation purposes, and I'm frequently traveling in areas where I don't have cell signal. It supports multiple cameras, so I installed a front camera in addition to the stock backup camera. It also supports iDataLink Maestro OBD2, so you can retain the factory settings from the previous 3rd Gen Entune head-unit, such as lighting, door locks, etc. My only complaint (very minor) is that the navigation sporadically sends information to the miniature screen between the gauges, like Turn-by-Turn and Compass...so sometimes that works, and sometimes it doesn't. All in all, a great unit, and a huge improvement to the Toyota Entune unit.

    +1

Just installed a 2440nex. Far as I can tell they are exactly the same. I recommend it highly. If you want to use some of the features while driving, you will need to wire in a bypass (its easy). Just follow the directions exactly.

I’ve got a Pioneer 2440nex coming this week. It’s the 2018 version of the 2330nex. This is one of the “limited” models so it includes HD radio.

You will love it. Make sure you try out the mixtrack feature. U need to have music on a USB source to run it. A phone won't work....

Did you install it yourself? I ordered this stereo from Crutchfield and I am blown away by the amount of wires..... My Taco is non-jbl and has the steering wheel controls.....

Try this. I use this kit and it works fantastic for retaining my steering wheel controls and USB.

Anyone know what these connections are for?
My guess is the XM antenna and the mini jack near the usb plug..... new stereo does not utilize them.....
