Kind of an odd note. Was that a frame buy back or something?

pretty much the outer edge of the roof, right above the main driver/passenger windows and the smaller xtra cab windows. 8 holes total, 4 on each side...half inch big each to fit the well nuts into.

Got mine primarily as a place to put lights, I don't like putting much gear on the roof but if I have to I can. I used to mount my hi-lift up there on it until I got my bed rack with the hi-lifts mounts.

I thought about putting this on my camper, the load is pretty disputed out because it goes into rails. Idk how strong yout camper is but mine can support my weight no problem (150) but ifk how much more after that it can support

yeah the well nuts expand to fill the holes but the instructions did recommend lining them with silicone just in case...I even lined the seam around the mounting plates with RTV silicone as an extra precaution. I need to re-do it though. Looks great from 10 ft away lol.

Yeah in 2010 they bought my 2000 Taco back over the rusty frame stuff. I immediately purchased a 2010 Taco that I still have as my DD 10 years later.

stuff and things that make it better
Just welded a Barnes4x4's 1/4" thick lunchbox on the back of my housing, then melted a couple of rows around the diff drainplug to fix that issue.

I made 1 x 3 x 3 blocks as mounts for my Curt Basket, out of ABS plastic that I purchased on eBay. Bolt through the rail of the basket, and down through the block. This spreads the load, and I have used for my spare tire, chainsaw, gas, etc. You can work the ABS with wood working tools. It's a bit tricky, as they don't have square bottoms, so a lot of trial fittings. I routed a round groove in the top to cradle the rail too. You also need to silicone around them to keep them from leaking into the bed.

Got a couple things done on the truck tonight.
    Showed the interior some love.
    Shopvac/armor all etc..

    7E4AEC17-A86C-4857-A4D5-51E89C03707B.jpg

Cleaned the battery and put some new felt rings on.

Then I finally got around to rerouting my blinkers! Been driving around for about 2 months with my blinkers zip tied. Feels good to get them things up and out of sight. Looked like shit.

Got the side lamps glued and sealed. Letting them set overnight before I install.

Tell me about it. I looked at mine for 2 months and every time I’d see them I’d say the same thing, “ man I really need to relocate” haha it’s simple enough. Took about 25 minutes. Just a matter of doing it. Glad I finally did.

I played in the rocks. Truck did awesome. My skids took a beating. No dents on them. Those reinforcements worked out great. May not need those BAMF ones after all
