Do youe stock uppers rub on the coil?? Because i don’t really see any difference with a 3” spacer vs a 3” lifted coil overs, unless they are wider and rub.

Yeah, it'll rub on stock uppers. The uniball aftermarket uppers give it's room inside to fit the coilovers.

Those icons are for 6 lugs the ones we need dont have the extra 3 in at the bottom. The main reason we need better uppers is the oems are so fat and take up way more space than tubed ones. Be careful when looking at "Does this fit you vehicle" because there are plenty of 2.7L 6 Lug 2wd out there.

Usually if it's a half decent fitment search it should be asking for base or prerunner model.

I always select x runner or s runner on those options to hopefully make sure it doesn’t think 6 lug

So why is it that we can't use regular 6 lug front shocks? Especially a TRD Pro kit or something similar from Toyota? Is the top hat physically different?

Lower means shorter shocks but more than that 5-lug suspensions are completely different in the front, the strut mounts , spring diameter and length, control arms, the whole kit and caboodle. None of it is transferrable. Even our rear axles are spring under instead of spring over which is why they sit lower. Because its lighter duty, all the welded attachments are specific to lighter duty, shorter travel components. Since mine is 2wd I don't know what differences are in the 4x. I bought myself one specifically not to be lifted. Tired of reaching the roof and climbing into the cab plus I don't ski anymore. I realize I'm in the minority but the 2.7L has all the power I actually need and saves me a ton over what I used to spend with a 4.0L 4x4. The only lift mine might ever see is from slightly bigger tires, no more than an inch, unless it's for some more rugged tires for camping.

And that's with a 3 in spacer already on.
It just won't fit because I believe the coil bucket is shorter.

I found a 2WD 2015 and bought it. It has been lifted, so I am going against the grain and will be returning to something closer to stock.

It came with Terra Grappler G2's on all 4 corners mounted on 18 x 9's. I'll be losing those soon. Too much noise for all my road miles.

WOAH WOAH WOAH.... What is the deal with the coil over x runner adapter plate... please explain the function as the website doesn't explain at all.

Also, here are some shots of the ATO shackle flip I just installed with the extended shackles.

DAWG... I tried to tell you... Youll have to recreate the LCA's... The only way youll get anything to fit in there is if its the right shock... The 5 lug shock doesnt have the extended loop at the bottom where it connects to the LCA
