I used to sell for Honda and I always thought it was a decent vehicle for what it is. It handles on road very well and still serves to have a bed. My favorite feature is the inbed icebox. If I didn't want a truck or something that was a capable offroad vehicle I wouldn't mind having a ridgeline. Its a nice suv. Not the best looking rig but hey, people like them or else I would not have sold so many.

FWIW I saw a Ridgeline hauling two dirt bikes in the bed today.

Yeah, no I'm all set with the RL. There is one around here, it is shiney home depot getter with a old dude behind the wheel and the others are Massholes that are all spiffed-up directly from the suburbs of Boston or CT. They are ugly AF, the interior is ugly AF (whats the deal with the center console?), These are not work trucks, this is a city boy suvs w/ a bed. The best part no MT.... Yeah, I'm all set

You make it sound like the tacoma has a 5 inch advantage on the Ridgeline. It's 1.5 inches. Are you in some magical state where all snowstorms are between 7.9 to 9.4 inches? I drive in huge snowfalls every year, in a part of maine where they don't clear the roads too often. I've driven a Subaru Impreza, Honda CRV, Ford Fiesta, Lexus RX-300, and my Tacoma - 75% of performance comes down to tires and and being smart enough to figure out when you need to keep momentum.

You would be amazed, actually, given your beliefs about snow, at the type of vehicles people drive here in raging snowstorms with no issues. 2wd vehicles with all seasons is what most people can afford and they manage it. Society does not come to a screeching halt just because many people dont have high ground clearance vehicles.

That's the point of my post. The Tacoma is BOF and Ridgeline unibody. Yes, The Tacoma does some things better, and yes, the Ridgeline does some things better. I would say for most of the things people use Tacomas for, the ridgeline DOES do better. Too bad you cant say that here without a bunch of autistic screeching from people hung up on the fact that it is ugly and how it isn't a REAL TRUCK!!!!

There are three absolute certainties in life:
    -death
    -taxes
-anytime a Ridgeline thread starts on TW, it will instantly become a dick measuring contest, lol. (Disclaimer: not defending the RL, it's ugly AF)

    Happy Monday, everyone :)

It does around here. Buses are stopped, schools are closed, and yes, the people with low clearance vehicles don't go anywhere. It's not a light fluffy 9 inches of snow. It's wet and heavy. I had plus one tires on my stock 2nd gen so it was a 2.5 inch advantage. Is that even possible with a Ridgeline? Either way, during that week, if I had owned a Ridgeline and a Subaru, I'm the guy asking for a ride to work as they'd both be hanging out in the garage.

Yeah, I didn't know so many people have such strong feelings about them when I started it...

(Disclaimer: my dick does just fine, no need to measure up and find out how short i fall...)

Trucks are big purchases and people feel the need to justify their own purchase by shitting on other people and their purchases. Millions of people go about their lives in 2wd low ground clearance vehicles, but suddenly you say you bought a ridgeline and they will claim you can't get out of the Home Depot parking lot because its too low to the ground.

Nah, but a large percentage of society are assholes and a large percentage of society drives trucks, so there is just a large overlap.
