Did about 60 miles in my OR today. It was raining and muddy, but we had a great time. This thing is a beast on the trails. Hit 45 mph a few times and it held its own. Really rethinking rethinking the need for a new suspension. The stock components did everything I needed them to.

Nice looking truck! A little rain helps keep the dust down and trails a little bit more compacted, which isn't such a bad thing. I've been on the trails around Grayling before, which trail system where you on?

Kalkaska. Good trails, although pretty flat.

I've had the truck at Silver Lake Sand Dunes too, and can say the Tacoma excels on the dirt. It's much better suited for trail sd than sand from the factory

Yeah from what I've done the Off-Road model does pretty well on the dirt trails. The crawl control is a fun feature to try to figure out how it is best used beside the digging yourself out of being stuck. I tried it climbing up some sandy hill but I probably wasn't aired down enough to get to the top. I might check out Kalkaska sometime, I have been on the Leetsville trail on my dirt bike and utv before.

Whereabouts in Kalkaska? I am downstate as well and am always looking for trails. Just can’t find specifics though hah.

Really? I had my off-road out at Silver Lake and I thought it did awesome and I was runnt it really hard trying to keep up with my buddy in a RZR. I just swapped out the front suspension for extended travel coilovers and LSK boxed control arms and Fox 2.0 w/ resi and a AAL for the rear. The ride is night and day. I'm pretty anxious to take back out to the dunes in a couple weeks.

I am from Metro Detroit and headed to that area this weekend. Hoping to explore some trails and sand.
