Anyone know the best way to fix up a rusted ding on the curve of the roof where it meets the top of the windshield?

Sand it out lightly with super fine sand paper. Use WD40 to rub it all out and make sure it’s gone. Use a color matched touch up pen from the dealer to cover up the spot. Or bring it to a body shop to pay $200 for the exact same process

Oooooh, that’s a bad spot. Has the chip with rust extended under the window seal? If not, sand out every spot of rust, primer, then paint fill it.
If it stays it will rust under the seal and then the windshield would have to be pulled.

Zooming it looks to be an 1/8th if an inch away from windshield seal, but the rust drips down to the seal. I don’t think it’s affected yet. It’s still recent

Yeah just my luck a rock would find that spot. Of course it has to be dead center of the truck making it hard to reach too. However the rust seems to be contained to what is visible.

What kind of primer? Spray can primer? Or is there something I can dab on?

Got a step ladder? You can use spray primer, spray it in a styrofoam cup, then dab with an art paintbrush.

If you have a sun roof... Open the sun roof and stand on the front seats? Put down a drop cloth in the interior in case you drop any paint.
