So, what is the consensus product to use on dashboard and all around plastic in the cabin to achieve a shiny clean look?

Yeah I'm the same way. With a microfiber towel it does not leave any dust behind. I don't like the stuff that leaves the plastic shiny. At night driving in town the street lights shine off of that shiny plastic and reflects back up on your windshield making it hard to see out.

As far as the tonneau cover goes, I used Duragloss 301 Automotive Tonneau Cover and Vinyl Dressing.

You ever use Turtle Wax Dash and Glass on the outside of your windows? Water just rolls off the glass.

If you like shiny plastic Turtle Wax does make a interior/exterior cleaner that has UV protection and leaves plastic with the wet shiny look. Shine your tires and black plastic on the exterior with it also. If my local Walmart carries it I may get a bottle for my tires when they start looking gray.

You don’t want a shiny look in the cabin. It’ll reflect the sun and make it harder to see the road. You want a clean matte look for interiors. Something like 303 works great but I like to use this product. Leaves a matte look, protects from UV rays and is safe to use on screens.

303 all the way. And it holds up to water just fine on my inflatable kayak.

Every material is different. Same as with our trucks. Different plastics react differently. I grew tired of seeing 303 run down the side of my bed after applying to the plastic caps.
