Center Cap Inlays to Replace Toyota Emblem for 2016+ Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road and Sport Wheels

In summer 2017, I helped my husband, @sxe4533, design and create the TRD wheel decals that are sold here on Tacoma World. Although we did not sell the decals ourselves until February, he has always had center cap inlays on his rims to compliment his wheel decals.

Although we sell the wheel decals with the center cap inlays as a combo in our other post, we wanted to make a sale post exclusively for the inlays.

Product Overview:
Custom made center cap inlays designed to fit the 2016, 2017, and 2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road and Sport wheels. Upon request, these can be made to fit other wheels!

These decals are customizable and made to replace the Toyota emblem that is on your hub cap.

A visual picture is provided to show the color combinations offered. Different color combinations may be requested, inlay letters are customizable. Colors may not be exact matches, but were selected to be as close as possible to match truck colors.

One order contains 5 inlays, 1 per wheel plus 1 extra.

These are customizable!
In the product listing, "TCO" is the three letters shown in the samples, but you can customize these however you want-even the size to fit other wheels!! We have done initials, various letter combinations, personal business logos, designs, etc. If you would like to customize the inlays you can always send a request directly to me on Tacoma World or Etsy- through direct message or 'note to seller.'

anyone have any experience how these hold up in snow and car washes?

 

My husband had his on for almost a year without a problem, he only changed his centercap inlays because he wanted a new design! They lasted through extreme heat,snow/ice storms, Louisiana road flooding, and he power washes his car weekly. We also provide an extra decal-just in case one gets messed up during installation or to keep for backup in the future.

For those who are worried about how these will look placed over the emblem, you will actually remove the original emblem and place these on the flat surface. It's really easy to do! An example of the flat surface can be seen in the 'before' picture above.

 

Once SCS releases the new Ray 10s I’ll be grabbing a set in the TRD logo.

 

I have aftermarket wheels and contacted SimplyMuggle and was able to get a custom set made for me...very happy with the product and turnout

I have used a small spray of windex to apply vinyl decals. It allows you to position them and get the air bubbles out. Let it dry and you're set. Will that work with these? Have you tried it?

 

It can. I typically use a spray bottle with a drop of dish soap or baby soap to help apply the wheel decals. With the center cap inlays, I send them with transfer tape and I never had an issue with bubbles since I always follow behind with my finger or a card. I just always make sure my transfer tape is smoothed over the decal before I slowly peel the decal from the backing paper and rub behind the decal as I place it on the cleaned application surface.
