Hey guys...Got a 2” leveling kit put in a couple weeks ago and now I have the itch for some tires. I’m considering 285/70/16s. Any size recommendations? I want to go with the biggest size I can without any further mods or clearance issues.

IMG_1440.jpg I just put 285/70/17s (33") on my truck with a 2 lift. I had to do the Cab mount chop and a little trimming on the backside of the wheelwell liner, (not much). Caster was set to +4. No rubbing now. It rubbed like crazy before I did the cutting.

265/75/16, go bigger and you will be cutting and trimming stuff.

You’ll definitely need a cab mount chop and possibly more depending on wheel and tire combo. Look up pizza cutter wheels for a slightly different option

I am planning on keeping the stock TRD OR rim at the moment.

Look up pizza cutter tires on here. Lots of benefits and possibly no cab mount chop. I don’t rememebr.

I decided on 265/75/16 Mickeys...same width, just a little taller. The guy putting them on for me recommended those since I was not interested in a CMC or any other modifications. Putting them on Thursday. Pics to follow
