Tell me about it. I looked at mine for 2 months and every time I’d see them I’d say the same thing, “ man I really need to relocate” haha it’s simple enough. Took about 25 minutes. Just a matter of doing it. Glad I finally did.

I played in the rocks. Truck did awesome. My skids took a beating. No dents on them. Those reinforcements worked out great. May not need those BAMF ones after all

    Magiver of the year?

battery tie down lost a bolt. Found the battery tipped into the alternator when I went to air up. didn't have any spare parts or tools.

Found a ratchet strap and came up with this. Think its actually stronger than the normal tie down haha

My gf made me redo the kitchen. Sad part her kitchen update is cheaper than the truck build which I lied to her that it was the same. Haha

The banjo bolt bottoms out on inverted flare before tightening up.

I need to address the clicking noise I'm getting in my front end...just getting worse.

When CVs start to go bad, I assume the click in both 4x4 and 2wd since they're always spinning, ya?

Few months ago I started noticing a clicking sound in 4x4 when turning offroad, assumed it was my older CV axle going out. Now I'm hearing it daily in 4x2, going straight or while turning...doesn't matter. It's not consistent with anything, just seems to happen at random every 5 seconds or so there's a loud 'click' or 'clickclickclickclick' then silence for a few seconds or maybe a minute.

Sound like a CV axle or maybe carrier bearing? Definitely sounds like it's coming from the front end but it's hard to tell for sure 100%

I have a spare CV I could install in place of the one I think is bad and see if it fixes it...worse case I just keep the old one as a spare.

Headed to pick up a Leer camper shell. Been looking for several months for one in decent shape and a reasonable price and one popped up today on Craigslist. Hoping he doesn't sell it before I get it, its a rather amazing price :fingerscrossed:

Don't think I need space bad enough to drill holes in the cab.

As we neared the north end of the WABDR, it'd been a fun but relatively easy trip. I don't know if it was more experience than we had on the OBDR or if the route was just easier - but @mrs.turbodb and I were happy to finally get a bit more technical trail (even if it was a side trail) for the excitement.

And then, there was the excitement at the border...
