I’ve never heard of Toyota cross breeding their engines with anything outside of Lexus or Scion. I think I am missing one. The 3.5L engine is in various Lexus cars, which is made by Toyota.
Whoever told you it was made by Mazda obviously doesn’t know Toyota at all, or cars at all:rofl:

This is my third Toyota, proud of it, the 2 firts were Land cruisers, 1994 and 1998. i'm sorry I get rid of them but I needed a pick up truck for my new house build up, it,s on a mountain in Puerto Rico. Needed 4x4 and just some rumors going around of it, didn't make sense. Thanks all of you...

The Toyota IA is a Mazda engine.
The gt86 is a Subaru engine... the new Supra has a bmw engine...

But taco is 100% Toyota engine.

The 3S-GTE has Yamaha stamped on the timing cover.

Yamaha was heavily involved in the development of the 2ZZ-GE.

The FR-S uses a Subaru motor.

In all fairness the GT86 was a knock off from Subaru. That doesn’t count:D

Outdated interior (only thing digital is the monthly payment bill) , rusting components, 18% less hp, 70's style station wagon rear end, 80 style fender flares, heavy flux cap. It looks more outdated every day.
    No thanks.
