New to forum.

Hey there, I’m new to the forum and Tacoma’s in general. Just picked up my first truck. It’s a 2013 Tacoma and I love it! I am really stoked to be apart of this forum. I do have the obligatory question about the air controls. I purchased this truck with the fan only working on the high setting. I did read about a TSB for the 2005-2011 Tacoma’s. I’m wondering if this TSB will work for the 2013 also? If not, is the fix the same? I did read through the write up about fixing this, but wanted to clarify before diving into it myself. Thanks for reading.

Thanks for the welcome! I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t going to waste to the time of the people on this forum, and went and looked for myself at the location of where the typical connection is for this issue ( near the fire wall, driver side, bottom), and it doesn’t look the same as in the pictures I’ve seen, so it might be in a different location? I didn’t dive into it, just wanted to check.

Evening everyone. Thought I'd share some info regarding my issue with fan speeds only working on high. I found the component responsible for controlling this and just more or less jostled the wires around and now it's working properly. I'm sure this is a very temporary fix, but it is cheap. I'll be investing in the proper part and fixing this myself as it doesn't seem all that difficult.
