I’m new to this forum and new to the Toyota life. My husband (who will probably post on my account from time to time) has been a Toyota man his whole life. We just had a baby girl and were planning on buying a new SUV so we would have a nice big family car. At the last minute the Husband insisted that I take a quick look at a Tacoma. He knew this has always been my dream truck.

It took about two seconds to make my decision once I saw that the dealership had a manual transmission cement colored TRD off-road.

We had to make a deal, make some decisions, then the truck sold and we had to find one through another dealership.....long story short.....we’re going to pick up my baby this weekend!!!!

Picture below is just bare bones. Will post more pictures Saturday when she’s all finished up.

    Holy Toledo:)

That looks great. Did the dealership install the grill? I want one mostly for the blackout effect but am nervous about the ToyotaSense not working/being at the right height. Wheel package looks really good with that color.

Yes they did. It's just a spacer lift for now. My husband wants to fix it up with some new shocks eventually. It's 2 in front and 1 in back.

Yes they did. It comes with an insert for the sensors. You can kind of see the clear square space towards the bottom. They said it was the first one they’ve done on the 2018’s. I don’t think they had to recalibrate it, unless they had to recalibrate it to account for the lift, which they would have had to do even if we didn’t put the new grill on. Everything works perfectly so far!
