I'm considering a 30" LED light bar on my 3rd gen, and may do ditch lights while I'm at it. Since the dash has a single blank for an additional rocker switch without doing any other modifications/cutting, I'm considering whether I want the lights on a single switch, or whether I want/need separate switches for the ditch lights and LED bar.

So, if you have both, do you usually use them together? Are there any situations where you'd want one but not the other?

I generally prefer to have them on separate switches.

I have mine on separate switches and wouldn't like only one. Sounds good on paper, just not very practical.

What would be obnoxious about a single-switch setup?

In our experience, while they are often used together most of our customers like to have the flexibility to run them separately. If I am pulling into a camp or something late, I will turn off my top light and just run the smaller ones so I am not blinding anyone who may be up and about.

I tend to drive through fog-heavy areas. It also gets steamy in the summer after a good rain. a 30" bar on the front bumper is still useable as a mega-fog light, but my ditch lights turn fog/steam into a blinding wall at night.
