Free oem lower ball joints!! Update: sold

Just swapped out my lower ball joints, I didn’t have record of when they were last changed and even though they didn’t have any play I swapped them anyways. My best guess is that they were replaced when the frame was (approx 40-50k) truck now has almost 150k. So they most likely don’t have much life left but they would make a good spare for trail repairs or such. All the bolts and castle nuts are also included.

Grease still seems to be a decent color and the joints don’t feel gritty or rough when you move them. All mounting surfaces are clean and practically free of rust.

We they hard to replace?

 

No not really, did one in an hour the other took a bit longer (had to fight with cotter pin)
