I guess you got your answer but I also would like the look of a scoop on my taco.
Don't forget shit in the rocks as well as they slip constantly, and they wear faster due to the softer rubber. I rocked the KO's for the longest time and they were super slippery in the rain, but yeah they did do well in the snow.

I love my MTR's but they don't peel out so well if that is what you are looking for, I guess when you turbo that biatch it will haha. Haven't tried the coopers but I hear good things. My MTR's grip very well. They actually did ok in the snow, and decent in the rain.

Did I hear someone wants to go play in the sand up in SLO???

If it is a date that I can make happen, I am down, would love to go do that. @BartMaster1234 get an air compressor and an arb air down tool. You will need it in the sand, but sand is a blast!

Going back to the roof rack question you had - yes, yakima loadwarrior with extension. Started out on yakima jetstream bars. I never did like the huge amount of space the thing would sit off the roof of the cap. One day, came across this thread -

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/roof-basket-on-camper-shell-easy-install.493289

After looking at it, I opted to use the yakima bolts w/anchor plates that fit right into the track. All I had to do was drill out the holes a little on the anchor plate. Going this route, I didn't have to add the brackets the OP for that thread used to boost it off the roof. It sits off the roof enough without it. Had planned to add another set of brackets in the middle but its still on the to-do list. The thing is solid - its not going anywhere. Also have 2 locking bracket tops as well.

Black yakima jetstream 50" bars sitting on the shelf collecting dust. Oh well.

Couple more shots... honestly though, going to do something for the roof of the cap or cab, go look at Prinsu. With what I have spent on Yakima products, I could've had a Prinsu instead. lol

You could do it in a 2wd, just dont stop in the deep stuff. Momentum is key

I really like the look of the low pro mounts. I dont want the cross bars. How much did that run you?

Just air down to like 15 psi and you'll be fine, my truck doesn't do bad in sand in 2wd if I'm aired down

Only time I've been in the sand with this truck I was on 31x10.5's, so a bit bigger but not much
