    I'm Bob I own a 2005 4x2 Std red tacoma ext cab.
I just found Yoshio post which saved me hours trying to figure
out how the antenna wiring snaked through the dashboard.
Mine antenna was corroded and losing signal fast.
I also found wrench for taking off the bazel.
Lisle 29600 #4 Antenna Nut Socket
    $11.34 on Amazon
It needed a little filing to thin the prongs. Almost worked except the
corrosion was very bad. Finally drilled it out.
