Just wondering here. The dealer tinted the (front) windows on my truck prior to purchasing it. Mine was the only double cab long bed on the lot at the time so I never really looked at any of the others.

My question, do the rear/side windows on DC TRD Sport trucks come from the factory with deep tint in the glass?

My state allows down to 5% LT tint on rear/side windows. Tint shop will cut me a discount if i peel the old film first. It really looks and feels like this tint in IN the glass, I cannot find a seam/edge of any aftermarket film on the rear windows.

    Thanks in advance!

That's what I needed to hear, it's going to be super dark! Thank you.

I have my windows tinted with 15% and it looks great in the rear windows. It's pretty much limo tint (really dark) so you can't see into it. Then I had them put 5% on the sunroof and 15% sun strip on the front.

From my understanding the "factory tinted glass" is just a privacy glass and for looks. It's like a smoked glass not a film that provides very little to no heat rejection. Most tint shops know what % to put on to keep it the darkest legal possible or match what you need to have a uniform look.

Thanks all. My appointment is tomorrow, I'm only doing the rear door windows with Llumar 5%. Because of the LEER cap I'm not doing cab rear window.
