Only if you plan on installing extended shocks that droop more than stock!

    Anyways, it's cheap insurance.

Pro Comp 6", full length 5100's with OME 888 w/ taco lean spacer, 5160s w/ Alcan custom pack, HS extended brake lines, Summit offroad Dakar 17x9, 315/70/17 Falken Wildpeak MT, Nitro 4.88 regear
I was running what you're considering..

This was my truck back on
5100's bottom clip (set at zero 3rd gen shock), OME 888 coil and HS taco lean spacer. Rear Dakar with all leafs, and extended 5100 rear shocks and HS extended brake line kit. Stock UCA's, got alignment in the green. 1.25" spidertraxx wheel spacers, 4Runner trail rims, 275/70/17 (I really wanted 285's but 275's are a happy medium without cutting shit)

Originally 3.5" lift in the front, about 4.75" rear. Settled nicely to 2.75" front and 3.75" rear

No rubbing on or offroad with this setup

Looking at replacing my spacer level kit with some new coilovers and leaf pack, starting to order parts for the front but can’t figure out what’s gonna sit semi-level... looking at 6112’s and ome 888 coils anyone know if those will work well together
trying to get 3” lift around but can’t find any info on what hight to put in the rear, looking at 2” ome Dakar leaf pack and new struts too, any help would be lovely and appreciated

6112 shocks come with their own coil because the shock is too big around for an 888 coil to fit. You would need to use the spring that comes with the 6112.

    5100 vs 6112.jpg

5100 on the left, 6112 on the right.

Height for the 6112 is adjusted just like the 5100 and factory spring, move the perch with circlip up. The max height you'll see is about 2 inches with the 6112.

I just put this exact setup on my truck. Went with 5100's, Dakar HD leaf springs and OME 888's. Ended up with just under 4" of lift in rear and front sits right at 3" lift. To me it drives great still and pulls my almost 4000 lb boat much better. I have the SPC LR UCA's also, just didn't put them in yet. Took about 6 hours by myself in my garage to get it all installed. Only bad thing, wife won't let me get new rubber until they wear.

I'm thinking about running a similar setup, 5100+888 up front, but with an AAL in the rear. SPC LR UCA's as well. I plan to run a 285. How has it been holding up for you? Did it sag lower over time?

Been on for Two 1/2 years. I have a shell, cargo box on top and several hundred lbs. in the back. No sag, drives great. If you are going to haul a lot of weight or trailer you want a set of air bags to add capacity and level out thd truck.

Overall haven't noticed any difference with the setup. Been going great. Just installed 285/55/17's on and it looks really good now. The tires really filled the void in the wheel wells.

ask my wallet about my modifications...
    (sorry)*bump*(sorry)
I have a 2020 OR Access cab with weld-on sliders and a mobtown IFS skid.
Recently snatched up a pair of used (2nd gen) 5100's with 888's and a set of tough country aal for a spankin' good price.
30-40k miles on a 2nd gen which when removed was still about 3" all around.
Bolted them on my brand new 3rd gen and got 2" up front and 2 1/2" lift in the rear. (stock UCA, no rub. ECGS and DD standing by... new tires next!)
Would be nice if they were level but it gives me wiggle room to add a canopy now. :)
    Just my 2¢
