I did it. Just jack up the truck, put the frame on jack stands. Then remove the lower shock bolt and pry/beat the shock off the mount. Then lower the axle to full droop. Loosen the front spring bolt, making sure to use the floor jack to get the load completely off the spring. Once the bolt is out, use the floor jack to lower the axle and thus lower the front of the spring. Remove and lube bushings. Reverse order. If the main eye doesn't line up with the front hanger, I just attached a ratchet strap to the d shaped things that are attached to the leaf spring that hold all the leaves together in a parallel manner. For me there was enough of a gap for these D shaped clamps on the top of the spring to put the hook onto. Then attach other side of ratchet strap to your tow hitch or something like that, and use the floor jack and strap to line the holes back up again.

Hmm ok thanks maybe the shackle bolts were 89. Just doing some research I need to add a spacer to each spring eye and your above mentioned process seems like a good way for the fronts

Nope, those are 67 ft-lbs, as mentioned above.

But regardless - the process above should work well for your situation! Have fun .

Just wanted to add to this, if using the , feedback I received from Wheeler's confirmed greasing everything -

both sides of bushing face (interior/exterior)
exterior of bushing which contacts spring eye
    exterior ONLY of metal sleeve

I chose to use ES's lube for all the bushings.

I have no idea if I did my rear bushings, but my suspension is squeaking like a Panzer tank again. I guess this winter I'll screw with it, once again, for the bazillionth time.
