Jose is like The Godfather of yotas I believe he owns/owned every gen.

 

This is one of the things we need to talk about in our new "TTC: Be Better than a Jeep" Safety Course. EVERYONE was blocking the trail and not pulling over to let others go by. We were lucky that the park wasn't as busy as it tends to get otherwise we would have had so many fellow wheelers mad at us for blocking the trail.

It wasn't an isolated incident either, it kept happening over and over throughout the day.

I try.... The 2nd Gen is under my mom's name and she has her "Disability" placard hanging on it so I can't really say I own a 2nd Gen anymore. Although I do tend to drive it around town when I go mall crawling.

What kind of wood is that?

 

It's hard wth a group that large as well. I try and never have a group larger than 5 total, though 3-4 is the perfect size imo

I'm down for learning Hi-Lift/Recovery safety and Use. I have a Hi-Lift and thankfully, I have never needed it, but I would like instruction from guys who've used them. It would be great to learn trail etiquette, as well, as most people, myself included, are not completely used to being in off-road parks with groups ( I've only done it twice).

Well we had broken up into groups in the morning although the "Easy Trails" group was still fairly large, after lunch just about everyone took off together which made one big cluster fuck. So you're right.... Smaller groups are key.... Where at least one member of each group has a CB in the event that help is needed. ??? Just thinking out loud....

 

Seriously soo awesome! Will have to have one done up for the wifey some time

 

Having proper communication on the trails improves everybody's chances of having a good time exponentially.

I also feel it’s good practice that at least one winched equipped truck should be with every group as well. It paid off last weekend.
