Purchased a couple weeks ago but figured I’d establish a baseline in this thread to catch up. Have since installed a Pro grille, BD Squadron yellow fogs, XD Xtreme Pro LED lowbeams, AVS window visors, Rokblokz mud flaps, and other small stuff. Roll n Lock Tonneau and Predator steps just got installed but forgot to take pics. Old ride was a 09 IS250 and while it was fun during my younger years, I was ready for something more practical.

 

Put on a sport hood . Got the scoop painted satin black to match the roof .

You are a very lucky young man. When I was in the Army as a Sergeant, I made $5000.00 as year! Could not have bought new anything!

 

Crawled underneath and checked the torque on my my ubolts. I got a half turn out of all 16 of them before the wrench clicked. I was really hoping it was just a '16-'17 problem.

 

Finally got around to prepping, priming. and painting my bolt on sliders and full aluminum skids from @Mobtown Offroad These things are awesome. Super beefy, well built, so far 100% satisfied with everything from Mobtown. Special thanks to my buddy Tom for laying on the paint in his shop. To be honest we didn't go for "looks" just blasted down some thick Rust-O-leum semi-gloss black at pretty high pressure. My plan is to simply touch up as needed with a rattle can.

Guess what's in the last picture? Brand new OEM Pro Grille finally ditching that horrible Cheese Grater on my OR. Anybody want a Chrome Grille??

 

I don't know why anyone would be surprised by this. When you install a lift you go back and retorque your U-Bolts after a few hundred miles don't you? Mine moved a lot more than a half turn. U-bolts stretch the truck is new, that's why it's something they look at after at your 5K service. It's not like your rear axle was going to fall off. I think this forum makes us a lot more sensitive to things, before it wasn't any different, we just didn't know....

Well, I did just roll over 8k, so that makes sense. I wonder why they didn't tighten them at my 5k service?

I’d guess they did which is why you only got a half turn. Not a big deal. Good you checked it and keep up on it. Just don’t be disappointed it’s just how they work. Do a lift and you’ll start all over. Enjoy it!

 

The OR Grille? I actually said it half joking but if you really want to I’ll look and see how much a used one sells for and give you a good deal, it’s actually a perfect time if you wanna buy i because i have the factory box the pro grille came in i can ship it in.

 

Picked up a hard cover and headache rack for $100. Still undecided on the headache rack, might grow on me.

 

Got my new license bracket today. Painted it black. Added my new frame . Really nice. Much cleaner than the plastic OEM thing. Thanks produxnplanner . That's his eBay handle.

 

$100 for mine. Like new. No bugs and in the box Got my TRD PRO grille in. With the trim.
