What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Just got a new Autism Awareness ribbon magnet to replace the one that some asshole stole last year...

 

Next weekend.

 

Mocked up some 1" spacers out of washers for the rear on the drivers seat. Took a short drive and I like it. I plan to make two new spacers and do away with the washers Tuesday when I go to the shop. Thinking about cutting and drilling some 1" hyd cylinder chrome rod.

 

The first mod to my 2015 Tacoma. I just had the Bakflip MX4 tonneau cover and Pop&Lock tailgate lock installed.

 

I noticed when I wash my truck(super white) I get a lot of dirt streaking coming from under them , I try to blow the water hose under them while I hold the cap up but it always streaks, I tried to pull them off but started to hear plastic breaking and stopped.

 

Replaced accessory switch lights, replaced some console clips, replaced the fuse I blew replacing the bulbs (it's the tail light 10A by the way), aired up my tires, cleaned my inverter switch and determined the switch is not my no 100W, and 400W only "issue".
Ordered a fuse kit.

 

There was quite a bit of dust under mine. Those holes in the rails are open to the wheel wells/fender area. So when driving on dusty dirt roads, that dust is getting up in there.

 

Put some front and rear bumpers!

 

Pulling the rails off - they do make some popping sounds as those tabs are pulled from the holes.

 

jup. thinking of having to source and buy new ones was running thru my head at the time and stopped, they probably aren't too cheap to buy I would figure only Toyota oems are available , not any aftermarket replacements.

 

I found OEM replacements here for $55 each.

Close the lever and put the safety clip back on



5.5 qrts of the favorite, closed her up and ran for a minute or two. Checked fluid level and it looks ok, kinda hard to tell with the fresh erl.

Buy the specific Toyota oil filter wrench. Works perfect with no chance of slipping.

 

Got the Prinsu installed.
