Not a whole lot. Just got to Temple. VA follow up appointments. Nothing available in ATX for awhile so had to travel north.

Dude! Why Temple? You should have been seen at the Austin clinic. After my one and only trip up to Temple, I swore to never go up there again.

VA hospitals are hit or miss. I've been to some that are awesome. The Temple VA hospital is not one of them.

It's not at VA clinic thankfully. Primary I go to is 183 and metropolis. This is for reevaluating a couple conditions I have documented.... Not those ones... :D
Process is drawn out and painful so this apt was available so I took it.

Must be a Air Force/Navy thing. I don't think I've ever even seen a VA hospital. Did you get a paper cut? Hangnail? Bloating? :boink:

If it makes you feel any better, I still have an open appeal from 2012 where the clinic in San Antonio documented an evaluation they gave me when I was, coincidentally, not even in the state of Texas. Been going around and around over it because it changed the date of the award from when I retired to a date over two years later. Not a huge sum of money, but the wrongness that some asshat at the Audie Murphy clinic lied, in writing, I CAN PROVE IT, and no one wants to admit up to it and fix the award dates.

It's become the principle of the thing now.

Still, the VA is a great place to work. 99% of VA employees are outstanding. Still, at 400K employees, mathematically speaking that leaves us with still a lot of asshats.

Paper cut on my hangnail. It's the combo that pushes it over the top :D

    Bloating is self induced :bananadead:

Everyone I've dealt with at the VA I've been impressed with. It's those behind or above them that are infuriating.

The employees feel the same way. Just let us do our jobs and stay the fuck out of our way.
