To be fair, though, as long as the welds are quality, the welds should be stronger than the u-bolts themselves...

Totally forgot that the procharger on my dad's harley has a blowoff/bypass valve. He almost never opens it up and gets into boost (even though it is tuned really well and responds great to it), but he just did a pull by the house and even over the loudass exhaust and traditional harley sounds you get some loudass blowoff noise.

 

I don't think I've ever had the desire for a new vehicle. I prefer to let other schmucks own my vehicles first

 

man that thing probably rides like absolute hell. At least he flipped his u-bolts...better than a plush setup that never sees dirt

 

That's exactly what I was thinking.

 

The problem with that assumption is that someone who thinks stacking cut leafs and a huge block with welded U-bolts probably doesn't have their welding skills in order, either.
