    This is overkill and unnecessary, but instead of using screws for the side mounting, do you think using a rivnut/bolt combo can work? I can imagine myself adding switches as I go, and having to reinstall the insert many times. I figure it would decrease the wear of the 3D printed material compared to re-inserting a machine screw over and over.

    I know...
    -You probably don't need to remove the insert to install new switches in the first place
    -I have no idea how strong the material is and how much pressure a rivnut can exert
    -The thickness of the material will also be a factor

    Just thinking out loud while I wait for these to become available.

    Don’t use a run of the mill rivnut, just use a nutsert made for plastic. Some of them you can just melt into the material. I’ve sourced them before from McMaster Carr

    I know a Switchpro version was done for the switch pro that does not have the mounting tabs on sides of the switch panel, but what about the switch pros that do? Is that something that could be worked up?

    Looking at purchasing a Switchpro and would love one of these in the future to mount the switch panel... but wanted to check for the possibility on that.

    Would have a pretty much custom Mesojdm 2nd gen overhead console between the dual color map lights and then this thing...

    Test fit is fine. Gotta start running wires when I get back from vacation
