Hello every one! I'm a big Toyota fan, but I have never had the pleasure of owning a Tacoma before until now. I have always wanted one, but was never able to find a great deal on one. Toyota is very proud of these small trucks! First time I went to purchase one, I left the dealer with a Tundra. Second time, I left with a scion.:confused::confused:

Anyways, I purchase a used 2016 TRD Sport with 52k miles on it. It seems to have been a lease, the condition is excellent, and the dealer had all the maintenance records on it. This is kind of a dream car for me and I love it, but I have had a few issues with it so far.

The A/C blower motor broke as soon as I pulled into my driveway with it. (The part is on intergalactic back order...go figure)

Dome lights didn't work (ended up just being a fuse)

Nothing major fortunately. I plan on keeping it mostly stock until I can afford to buy a fuel efficient car, I don't want to hurt the 25 mpg I'm getting currently.

The truck still has the original tires on it so I will need to replace those soon. I'm stuck between the Toyo Open Country H/Ts or the AT2s. I'm keeping them the stock size, any experiences with these tires or opinions would be greatly appreciated. I really want to keep my MPG but I don't want to have poor traction on ice or mild offroading.

    Future mods.
    Center console port always on
    Gun Holster
    A/C Drain mod
    Reverse camera/gps input always on
Seat covers (Clazzio or Wet Okole)
5th TRD Sport wheel for spare with working TPMS (5 tire rotation)
    LED lighting
    Hidden front receiver
    Husky floor liners
Bed cover (still debating real world advantages on MPG vs storage loss)
